The night culminated in the much-anticipated performance by Yellowcard. Seven years ago, in this very city, I thought I was watching them for the last time on their "Final Tour." The realization that they were back, playing in Chicago again after what we thought was the end, made the experience all the more exhilarating. Their set was a masterclass in pop-punk, playing an array of hits from their rich discography, including crowd favorites like "Lights and Sounds," "Rough Landing, Holly," and the timeless "Ocean Avenue."
