On this weeks episode we speak with comedy music artist and nerdcore rapper, Insane Ian! We talked about a lot of things including, Dr. Demento, MC Lars, The FuMP, FuMP Fest, videogame raps, and much more!

In this episode you will hear Ian talk about his work with Dr.Demento, helping run The FuMP and the state of comedy music. We got in a little deep about the stigma around comedy music, and the perception of the “mainstream” when it comes to the art that is comedy music and paradoy. We also discuss Ian’s background with videogames, reviews, and how this influenced him to work on an album of “Reviewsicals” which are videogame review songs. We discussed FuMP Fest as well, which is an event in Chicago, IL that highlights and celebrates comedy music and its artists.
