Summer School Tour - Bogart's

July 16, 2026 by Josh Custer in Show Review, Concert

The Summer School Tour rolled into Bogart's in Cincinnati with a lineup that perfectly showcased the future of pop punk and alternative music. From local support to the night's headliner, every band brought something unique while sharing the same goal: putting on a memorable show and reminding everyone why this scene continues to thrive. The energy never dipped throughout the night, making it one of those lineups where every set felt worth showing up early for.

Better Anyway had the honor of opening the evening for their hometown crowd, and they made the most of the opportunity. Their catchy songwriting and upbeat energy immediately got people engaged, with fans quickly gathering closer to the stage as the room began to fill. It was the perfect way to kick off the night, introducing new listeners to the band while giving longtime supporters plenty to cheer about. Check out the full gallery.

Chase Petra took that momentum and turned it up another notch. Their sharp songwriting and energetic performance found the perfect balance between emotionally driven moments and explosive rock hooks. The band had no trouble commanding the room, delivering a set that felt both personal and powerful while continuing to build excitement for everything still to come. Check out the full gallery.

South Arcade brought an entirely different flavor to the evening, blending nostalgic influences with a modern edge that made their set impossible not to enjoy. Their playful stage presence and massive hooks kept the crowd moving from start to finish, while their chemistry as a band made every song feel effortless. It's easy to see why they're quickly finding fans wherever they go. Check out the full gallery.

By the time Games We Play hit the stage, the crowd was fully locked in. Emmyn's charisma and ability to connect with the audience turned Bogart's into one giant singalong, with fans shouting lyrics back at the stage and feeding off the band's infectious energy. Their set was a reminder that live music doesn't always have to be serious to leave a lasting impression. Sometimes it's just about having a great time together. Check out the full gallery.

Then came Winona Fighter, and any remaining restraint disappeared. Their performance was all attitude, intensity, and controlled chaos in the best possible way. The pit came alive almost immediately as the band ripped through their set with relentless energy, proving once again why they're becoming one of the most exciting names in punk right now. Every song landed with conviction, and the crowd responded in kind. Check out the full gallery.

Closing out the night, Honey Revenge delivered the kind of headlining performance that tied everything together. Their chemistry on stage, polished performance, and undeniable connection with the audience made for a fitting finale to an already outstanding evening. Every chorus was met by a room full of voices singing along, creating one last shared moment before the lights came up. It was the perfect ending to a tour that celebrates not only great bands, but the community that continues to grow around them. Check out the full gallery.

The Summer School Tour continues to prove that the future of pop punk and alternative music is in very good hands. Every band on the bill brought something different to the table, yet the night never felt disjointed. Instead, it felt like a celebration of a scene that continues to evolve while holding onto the sense of community that has always made it special. Whether you came for one band or stayed for all six, you left Bogart's having discovered something new. That's exactly what a tour like Summer School is supposed to do.
