Show Review: Biffy Clyro with Raue

April 29, 2026 by Josh Custer in Show Review, Concert

Deluxe at Old National Center turned into something special the moment the doors opened. There was a buzz in the room that felt different, like everyone knew they were about to be part of something more than just another night out. By the end of it, that feeling proved to be right.

Raue kicked things off and wasted no time grabbing the crowd’s attention. From the first song, they came out with confidence and a ton of energy, moving around the stage and pulling people in. You could see the shift happen in real time as more and more of the crowd locked in with their sound. By the end of their set, they had turned a room full of early arrivals into a fully engaged audience, setting the tone perfectly for what was coming next.

Between sets, the anticipation kept building. Even with interlude music playing, the crowd started chanting for Biffy Clyro, getting louder as the minutes ticked by. It felt like the entire room was ready to explode before the band even stepped on stage.

When Biffy Clyro finally came out, that energy hit its peak instantly. No slow build, no easing into it. From the first moment, it felt like the highlight of everyone’s day, maybe even their week. The band brought a level of intensity and connection that turned the entire room into one unified voice. Every lyric was shouted back at full volume, every moment felt shared.

What stood out most wasn’t just how tight the band sounded or how high the energy stayed, it was how immersive the whole experience became. This was not a passive crowd watching a band play. It was a room full of people fully living in the moment together. The kind of show where you lose track of everything else going on in your life and just exist in the music.

Biffy Clyro delivered the kind of performance that reminds you why live music matters. It was loud, emotional, and completely consuming in the best way. By the time the night wrapped up, it felt like everyone in that room had just been part of something bigger than a concert. It was an experience.
